Kingston has been in full support for many end user related events in the recent years and just recently, they have even launched a community website dedicated to the end users. Apart from the usual like gaming and overclocking competitions, Kingston has been trying other forms of activities to engage the consumers ranging from Blood Donation Drive to Family Day in various countries. This time round, Kingston Hyper Race is planned out to promise a fun filled event for the techies who loves adrenaline. The event consists of Cycling, Go-Karting and Night Race taking place from end August to end September and do drop by at the official site for more information.
Over the last weekend, the first activity of the Kingston Hyper Race took place at East Coast Park, a popular place for cycling, skating, and of course the beach. It is a Saturday afternoon and slightly drizzling but that has not dampen the mood of the participants. The main objective of this cycling activity is to decorate your bicycle with Kingston logos using stickers, flags etc and then the participants will have to cycle a 4km route to showcase their decorated bike. The best decorated bike wins!
The goodie bags for the participants consists of Kingston towels, pens, drinks, T-Shirts etc.
It is refreshing to see a participant actually brought along his wife and kids. As the rain poured, the mother prepares rain coats for her children.

We are honored to have Trista, the PR manager of Kingston who flew all the way from Taiwan to kick off the race.
And here we go. The route will take an approximately an hour to complete.

Not forgetting, we have a nice Thai buffet spread for the hungry participants who brave the rain and completed the race
